This Return & Refund Policy explains when returns or refunds may be accepted for purchases made on DuchessBeadsandBeauty.com.
Returns
All sales are final. We do not accept returns unless DuchessBeadsandBeauty has sent you the wrong item.
To be eligible for a return in the rare case of a wrong item sent:
- The item must be unused, unworn, and in the same condition you received it.
- It must be in the original packaging.
- You must provide proof of purchase (order number/receipt).
Customised / made-to-order goods are not returnable.
We also do not accept returns for items that are intimate or sanitary goods, hazardous materials, or flammable liquids or gases.
Additional non-returnable items:
- Gift cards
- Downloadable/digital products
- Some health and personal care items
DO NOT SEND ITEMS BACK WITHOUT CONFIRMATION
Do not send any item back to us (or “return to sender”) unless you have received written confirmation from DuchessBeadsandBeauty with return instructions.
Any parcel sent back without approval may be refused or may not be eligible for processing.
How to report a wrong item
Reporting deadline: You must report any wrong item within 14 days of delivery. Reports made after 14 days may not be eligible for return/refund consideration.
If you believe you received the wrong item, email us first at:
admin@duchessbeadsandbeauty.com
Include:
- Your order number
- Clear photos of the item received (and packaging/labels if available)
- A brief explanation of what you ordered vs. what you received
If we confirm a wrong item was sent, we will provide the next steps and return instructions.
Refunds (if applicable)
Refunds are only issued if we sent the wrong item and we have confirmed your case in writing.
Once the return (if requested) is received and inspected, we will notify you by email whether your refund is approved or rejected. If approved, your refund will be processed back to your original payment method within a reasonable number of days (timelines can vary by bank/payment provider).
Late or missing refunds (if applicable)
If you haven’t received a refund yet:
- Check your bank account again.
- Contact your card provider/payment provider (posting times vary).
- Contact your bank (processing times vary).
- If you’ve done all of the above and still have not received your refund, email admin@duchessbeadsandbeauty.com.
Sale items
Sale/discounted items are not refundable, except where a refund is due because we sent the wrong item.
Exchanges
We do not offer exchanges. If we sent the wrong item, we will resolve it by either:
- sending the correct item (where available), or
- issuing a refund (where appropriate).
All requests must be submitted to admin@duchessbeadsandbeauty.com before anything is returned.
Gifts
If an item was marked as a gift and shipped directly to you, and a refund is approved due to the wrong item being sent, the refund will be issued according to the original payment method/order details (gift handling may vary depending on how the order was placed).
Shipping (for approved wrong-item returns only)
If a return is approved due to a wrong item being sent, we will provide return instructions.
Do not ship anything back until you receive confirmation and instructions from DuchessBeadsandBeauty.
Depending on your location (Ghana or international), we will advise the return method and any documentation needed.
